In spite of the difficult labor market in legal tech, companies are not making many concessions when it comes to hiring two specific roles: data scientists who have the capacity to understand the law, and lawyers who have the capacity to understand algorithms.

The two positions are certainly strange bedfellows, speaking in very different languages and following distinct patterns of problem-solving.
